DuraMag® is proud to provide the following limited warranty, subject to the limitations and exclusions provided herein, to the original purchaser of the DuraMag® service body (including those sold as private label or co-branded units) as originally installed on the first truck or frame (“Limited Warranty”).

10 Year Limited Warranty.

DuraMag® warrants that the structural extruded framework of the service body will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten years after the date of purchase.

 

One Year Limited Warranty.

DuraMag® warrants all: (a) lighting & wiring installed by DuraMag® on the service body, and (b) all flooring, interior linings, powder coated finishes, hardware, fasteners, seals, side panels, roll-up doors, racks, and roofing materials, manufactured and installed on the service body by DuraMag®, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year after the date of purchase.

 

90 Day Limited Warranty.

DuraMag® warrants that for a period of 90 days after the date of purchase components and products that were not manufactured by DuraMag® (“Third-Party Components”) were properly installed in the service body.  To the fullest extent allowed by law, DuraMag® transfers to the original purchaser of the service body all factory warranties on the Third-Party Components and will, upon request, provide the original purchaser with contact information for the manufacturers of the Third Party Components.

 

30 Day Limited Warranty.

If DuraMag® installed the service body onto the truck or frame, DuraMag® warrants for a period of 30 days after the date of installation by DuraMag® that the service body and the components used to install the service body, were properly installed on the truck or frame

 

Remedies.

DuraMag® will, in its sole discretion, repair or replace any service body or component determined by DuraMag® to be defective and covered by this this Limited Warranty.  DuraMag’s® legal obligation is limited to replacement or repair of the service body, specifically excluding transportation to and from the repair center or factory.  If DuraMag® determines that replacement is necessary, written proof that the service body is free and clear from all liens, claims, and encumbrances, must be provided to DuraMag before replacement.

 

Required Registration:

You must register your service body purchase at DuraMagBodies.com/product-registration within 30 days after the date of purchase, otherwise the Limited Warranty is void.

Limitations and Exclusions:  The Limited Warranty is non-transferable and is granted solely to the original purchaser of the service body as originally installed on the first truck or frame.  This Limited Warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) normal wear and tear; (b) abuse or neglect; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (e) modifications or additions; (f) unauthorized repair; or (g) accidents, abuse, or overloading.  The Limited Warranty excludes claims for incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of use, income, or cargo, rental fees, lost time, lost pay, property damage, damaged cargo, towing costs, lodging, transportation to and from repair, and any other forms of economic damages.

TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, THIS LIMTED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.

Making a claim under the Limited Warranty.

You must inform DuraMag® of any claim within 30 days of discovery and immediately for structural issues. Failure to immediately report a structural issue will void your Limited Warranty.

To make a claim under the Limited Warranty, contact your DuraMag® dealer/installer to submit the claim.  The dealer/installer will provide pertinent information to DuraMag® to evaluate the claim, including photographs of the alleged defect, the service body serial number, date of sale, and an explanation of the issue.  No claims will be approved without photographs showing the alleged defect.  If DuraMag® determines that the claim is covered by the Limited Warranty, DuraMag® will issue a claim number and authorized repair amount to the dealer/installer to proceed with the repair.  If you need assistance with, or have question about, the claim process, you can contact DuraMag at (207) 660-4700.

Do not start the repair process before reporting the claim to your DuraMag® dealer/installer and obtaining a written repair authorization from DuraMag® detailing the work to be performed, who is authorized to perform the repair, and the approved repair amount.  DuraMag® will not pay or reimburse any repair costs incurred before issuance of the repair authorization to the dealer/installer.
